FURGOFIT PILOT PROJECT

This project involved the refurbishment of a disused industrial unit in order to create a viable and functional area for van-repair work.

At the heart of the project was a large-sized facility which had been out of use for some time, with the client needing to reactivate part of said unit and make sure that it met the required characteristics to serve as a repair workshop for light vehicles – in compliance with the current regulations. The project is based on re-utilising the unit by bringing in industrial machinery such as hydraulic lifts, which means that the space needed to be internally rearranged via the creation of new access flows and exits – creating workspaces for the mechanics and supporting the usage flows of each area.

This is currently the only project of its type in Spain, given its status as a pilot project initiated by a German vehicle firm.
