BEAUTY PARLOUR

This project involved the full remodelling of a former clothing store and its conversion into a beauty parlour.

The idea behind the project was based around creating various open environments within the same space, in order to carry out the functions required of a beauty parlour, as well as incorporating a closed-off room. The store’s location is in the basement of a historic building within the city, which is why the project’s aim was to create synergy between what was already in place and what was new, by means of revealing the red-brick material used at the time of construction which, combined with antique wooden beams, stripped-down flooring in grey tones and white walls, help foster an atmosphere that is both warm and modern-looking.
