INTERACTIVE HANDOVER ROOM

This project grew out of the need to create a revolutionary and unprecedented space designed to promote the most significant and exciting moment in the vehicle-sales process – the handover – where the client enthusiastically takes possession of their new vehicle. To heighten this sense of enthusiasm and create an even greater feeling of excitement, a new, unique and unprecedented space was designed – the INTERACTIVE HANDOVER ROOM – to make the handover process truly sensational.

When the client steps into the space, they find themselves deep in a darkened room, with their new vehicle in centre stage and completely covered… In order to create an even greater sense of expectation, the system’s voice technology greets the client, welcoming them into the room while, at the same time, images start to be shown on 180º, 25m linear screens. These images show their new car in action, driving along a backdrop that varies depending on the model, with the imagery, smells and surround sound filling the senses and immersing the client in a world of new sensations.

Then begins a spectacular ‘mapping’ which is projected onto the vehicle, broadcasting three touch-activated icons – Security, Comfort and Technology – giving the customer the opportunity to interact with their new car. Using the touch-activated icons they can open up video tutorials which explain in an easy, intuitive and dynamic manner about the basic and/or extra features of their new car, showing them just what it is capable of… We are talking about a space that is packed with technology and sensations, which puts the client in centre stage and grants them a new and novel way of taking possession of their car – a space that is 100% technological and uniquely and exclusively designed for the moment of handover.

This project was recently awarded a national innovation prize by FACONAUTO, Spain’s leading car-dealership association.
